Beauty Box Delivery: Feb '13 Bella Box

Well hello!

Its that time again, Beauty Box Delivery! Once again I was very happy with what I got in my box. Especially the full sized Sally Hanson Nail Polish (which I have been wearing and lovin')

Here is what I got in my box this month:

As far as I am concerned, you can never do wrong with a mini Batiste. Always great for the Handbag and the holiday bag alike. Loved the Dddddeluxe sample size of the Frizzeease curl definer. See I have stright hair and will do just about any thing to create movement in to my hair. This saves me forking out for yet another full sized item only to be disappointed  Not saying this will disappoint  if just now I have the option, and you know how I love OPTIONS! The Nuxe all over oil, maybe only used on my hair. I have faily oily skin and the less amount I can add to it the better. I already use this sunscreen, but having a baby means I can have this in his nappy bag for those just in case times when we decide to go an sit in the park for lunch :D

I love these hard cardboard boxes as they double as storage systems when I need to do a little sorting around the house.

Gothic Makeup

Hi All,

So this week I decided that I would do a Gothic Makeup look. Some of you would be aware that I have hinted in past videos that I am now a "reformed goth" - What does this mean?? Well I no longer just listen to metal and the alike, but have branched out a little more mainstream and no longer only wear the goth attire  Yes I have sold out. Crucify me if you must.

Any hoo! so I did a little video on what I used to wear and my old get up!

My New Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

Hi All,

I recently purchased the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation in Pale Almond from Myer as they had it on sale for AU$50. I also Picked up the Double wear concealer along with it. So far from what I can tell, it lasts very very well, it blends out pretty well. I do find the colour a little too pink for my skin tone as I normally prefer yellow based foundations on my skin tone. The concealer isnt too think and drying which means I dont find it sits in my wrinkles too much (one may argue "What Wrinkles?" - I CAN SEE THEM!)

I think if I could pick this product up on discount I could continue to buy it, but I dont think I would pay full price for it, as it probably is not on my top all time fave foundations. Dont get me wrong I do love it, it doesn't leave my skin oily or shiny, but not overly matt either.

Please feel free to let me know your thoughts on this product. I know its quiet the cult foundation in some circles of the beauty blogging world.

My New Writing Desk/ Makeup Table

Hi All,

Well, my new (old) writing desk has come home, she needs a lot of love and attention. I still need to buy new handles and locks, Grant wants to sand her down and re stain her. There are a few minor repairs that need to be done (mainly extend the back of the unit so it can fit my storage systems) and then I think she will be all set. This is what she currently looks like after a little furniture polish and my makeup moved in. Please Please excuse the curtains and carpet. Like all family's who renovate their homes, it seems the parents bedroom is always on the last of the lists. Floor boards and timber blinds will shortly be on their way :D

I may do a video on whats in my case, but maybe once its had some renovations :D

New Video! - Online Haul

Hi All,

I have a few Videos that I am uploading at the moment. I have done a fair amount of Online Shopping, so be prepared for some Haul videos :D

My Makeup Collections - So Far....

As I mentioned yesterday, I would post a few pics of my Makeup collection at this point in time and how I organised it :D

So this is how I organise my makeup, I use desk paper organiser that I have bought from Officeworks. As you can see the OCD in me has labelled everything. I have 3 Mesh Pencil Tins that hold make up brushes and 2 Tins - One holds Lip Pencils the other Eye Pencils. I also picked up that little glass container from Target. And I dont leave home without my Sunglasses :D

My two top draws have a few baskets that I also picked up from OfficeWorks. From Bottom to top:

Hair stuff, Refills/Samples/Extra Makeup, Make up remover wipes and Q tips, Perfumes and smelly stuff :D, Brush cleaner, more face puff thingy, a sawing kit and safety pins - You always seem to need them.

Now as you can see on the floor is my dog Shadows bed (Shadow is a German Shepherd x Blue Cattle - He looks like a German Shep but has a Blue nose! ) Spencer sleeps in a little bed next to my side of the bed.  Shadow loses fur everywhere and it is quiet difficult to get it all up. Also please ignore my ugly curtains... unfortunately our room is the last on the list for make overs in this house :D

Trolling Cosmetics sites today

Today, I have been trolling cosmetics sites (dah) Im planing my next shop as I have been saving up a bit of money. This time instead of hitting Allcosmeticwholesale.com like I normally do, Ive been thinking that I may have a look at Sleek Makeup online and maybe some NYX??  Really out for some new blushes and waterproof eyeliners and mascaras. I do want some new brushes to try out as well but have not seemed to find a brand that I would like to buy a collection of yet. Below is a vid on where I have shopped in the past...
